Here’s a take on an old traditional song I wrote a bunch of new verses for, with the collectively inimitable Jonathan Edwards, Darol Anger, Karl Doty and Owen Marshall in support.

Road to Columbus, one of my favorite old fiddle tunes, from a set at Grey Fox with the Gibson Brothers a few years ago.

Another of my favorite fiddle tunes, Chinquapin Hunting, as played by my Monday night cohorts and I, aka the Stowaways.

And here’s one of the Stowaways playing a song that touches on many of the classic bluegrass-y subjects and metaphors: trains, heartbreak, prison, and the effects they’ll have on a person’s mood (hint: generally negative).
