The top-flight bluegrass band that I play with, around and for on the road full time is the Gibson Brothers.

As of late I’ve been moonlighting with folk singing legend Jonathan Edwards on the road, and he was kind enough to invite me to play on his latest record entitled My Love Will Keep.

I had the pleasure of adding some mandolin to awesome Maine-based banjo player Ron Cody’s celtic album the  Talking Rake. Tasteful tunes!

Darol Anger says fiddler/singer Erica Brown “gives musicians a good name.” Her latest record (From Now On) features many of the best bluegrass musicians from the state of Maine, and me, too.

Guested on harpist extraordinaire Maeve Gilchrist‘s new record. She’s a force!

Guitarist Scott Nygaard is a hero of mine, and of fans of inventive, moving, musical exploration everywhere. With fiddler Lauren Rioux, Scott and I started a band and recorded a self-titled record: Scott Nygaard and Crow Molly.

317 Main Street Community Music School of Yarmouth, ME, is a one of a kind place where anyone can study music, take part in a jam, join in a band, or just generally soak up the good vibes that permeate the building. I had the pleasure of teaching there for several years. Current teachers include Lincoln Meyers, Jesse Brock, many members of the Jerks of Grass and many of the Stowaways.

Portland, Maine based alt-bluegrass/acousticana singer-songwriter Roy Davis’s new record (the Coloradas) is chock full of catchy songs, gritty textures and yours truly on the mandolin. And it’s available on vinyl!
